WOULD IT BE A GOOD IDEA TO GO?

My ex is coming to nyc next month and wants to see me. we were together 4 yrs ago. In between the years I had my son and my sons father and I are no longer together. I went to ATL last summer to try to rekindle our relationship and instead left with both of us agruing. Since then we are somewhat kool, text each other once in a blue. He now lives in Iowa with his girlfriend. QUESTION... SHOULD I GO VISIT HIM? WHY DOES HE STILL WANT TO SEE ME IF HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND?
