A normal way to react to a death?

My child's grandfather ped away in a very unexpected situation. We are very much in shock... he was only 49. I have bad anxiety, and though I am on medication for it... it still gets pretty bad in times of stress. Since the death I have had a very depressed, but eerie feeling... as if something else bad is going to happen. Like that "impending sense of doom" feeling. It feels lie a 100lb weight sitting on my chest and a burning sensation. Also, in funerals in the past, I feel this unwanted urge to escape the situation. My heart starts racing and I have a panic attack. I loved this man and his family VERY much so not going isnt an option so please dont suggest it. Severe iron deficiency anemia treatment in special needs children?(running out of options!)?

My daughter is 4 1/2 and we have tried iron rich food, iron supplements, everything PO that we could, we moved on to IV iron but after several treatments she developed an allergy to it. We just recently tried a different form of IV iron but that had no effect on her at all. Now the docs are telling me that the only option we have left is regular blood transfusion which is very risky. I have been told that whenever I take her in to get a transfusion I must realize that I may not be taking her home with me. I went the legal route, filed police reports, etc. The judge looked at me and basically said "anyone can file a police report" because my ex had threatened to punch my 15yr old daughter in the face. The police have been called on several occasions, due to altercations with the two of them. Before people start saying she is an "unruly teenager" she makes straight A's doesn't give me a bit of lip, but has said her father doesn't respect her and he yells all the time. DHS has been called on him and it is under investigation because the school called on him. My younger kids that still go over there every other weekend have said point blank that he lies about a few things (grabbed my son and left a large bruise on his shoulder) and I will be bringing this to court when i go, but they still want a relationship with him they said and that is fine as long as I feel they are safe. The only thing I want him to do is get anger management (he admitted to me he has an anger issue to me) but clic case of he said she said when we go to court probably. My daughter has said she's had it with his lies and he's abusive and he's stated when he picks the kids up "If she doesn't wanna come, i don't want her here. She's not going to ruin our weekend." Am I in contempt if he makes those statements? Doesn't a judge have to listen to my daughter, if I present this evidence in court? How can I get judges changed? I feel like no one that can make a difference is listening. Let me say in closing, I want them to have a relationship with him if they are safe or I want him to get anger management, supervised visits if they aren't. Can I get a change in modification of custody order without a lawyer since we're going to court for a review? Please help!

Yesterday I had a fever of 38.3 degrees Celsius. At the same time my stomach started hurting. Mostly its a very mild pain with sharp spikes (They didn't come often). I took paracetamol and activated charcoal. I can not identify where exactly the pain is. Its below the bellyon, but its hard to tell if its on the right or the left side. The fever went down to 37.1 this morning and kept in the range of 37.1-37.6 throughout the day. Currently I have a consistent mild pain. Also when I go to the toilet, the feces are green and water like. I do not experience any vomiting syndromes. Its 12:52 AM and I need to decide if I should go to sleep or call the ambulance. Please tell me an honest opinion on the symptoms of what could it be? Maybe just an infection? What should I do to make a decision? Its not an easy matter to call the ambulance where I live. Also when the sharp pains come in, I usually get a surge to go to the toilet.

Good team. Trade Ellis and hopefully Manu gets back to 100% at least by January. You evened out the bad FT of Duncan, Horford, Camby, and James with good guards. I think Ellis for Troy Murphy is a good trade. Murphy is going to have a break out year especially with the rebuilt Pacers. Plus you do need the 3's. And who doesn't love a center who shoots 3's? Other than that you got solid numbers across the board but 3 PT and rebounds could be better. That trade would help.

British Armed Forces Quality not Quantity?

To be honest I like the Yanks but they have a slight problem they have all the gear but no idea. There marines are not that good and they do not have the finesse our basic infantry soldier has. I have worked with them great guys but when it come to getting dirty give me the good old Tommy and or the Royal Marines I may not say it to them direct but you guys are tops and I envy you combat skills.

If the baby is breech will I still go into natural labor?

At 37 weeks, your doctor should be able to feel your tummy to find baby's head, not just ask where baby is kicking?! Especially as babies can be little contortionists and kick in some amazing positions that seem impossible. If after checking your tummy, he feels that the baby is breech, he will keep an eye on you cause babies can turn as late as 38 weeks. If by then bub still hasn't turned then he will probably book you in for a c-section as baby is now too big to turn by itself. They will not let you go into labour knowing you are breech though. Sometimes though, they can surprise everyone and suddenly turn even later but that can be very painful for mum when bub does this. If you do go into labour with a breech baby, they can sometimes put the brakes on the labour but that is often when you go in for emergency c-section, this you really want to avoid because often your partner is not allowed in, at least a planned one, he is allowed in. Baby food... need i say more?

My daughter is experienced with Gerber Stage 1 and even the fruits and vegtables of stage 2. She enjoys spoon feeding very much. i think that i started her too early, but then again she is taking everything fine and everything seems right. She has never had any allergic reactions or anything. Her bowels are fine, has about 16-18 oz of formula per day and two sittings of baby food. She will be five months on the 12th, and im really confused. One site tells me that I shouldnt have even started her on baby food till this month another site says that she is fine where she is at and that she'll progress how she wants. Another says that she can get diabetes from having baby food to early. Im so confused!! Can a person fix a "throw-away" (non-ballast/dual transformer) fluorescent light fixture?

My 48" garage fixture doesn't work on side. It does not have a ballast/silver little canisters. It is run off of 2 small transformers with a little breadboard containing a ceramic capacitor and some resistors. When I took the thing apart, I wasn't sure if the transformer on one side ran bulb 1 or bulb 2. Or if one transformer was in charge of both bulb sockets on either end. To me the wiring looks as if I would not be able to take 2 "one-bulb working" fixtures and make a "2 bulber" without having to throw both the onesies away and spending $ for a new one.

HELP!! my compost doesnt look right!?

okay. this is my first year with the whole composting and organic vegetable garden. i love everything about it. its very relaxing and also rewarding to see my garden with tons of veggies. my compost bin is in a ten gallon paint bucket with no holes. the lid is a piece of heavy tile (i lost the real lid..oops!) i put in stuff like dead leaves, green leaves, fruit, coffee grounds, old veggies ect. it looks really wet, like soupy and dark brown and gross. it molds over on the top and when i stir it, its just brown watery stuff with chunks of old rotton food floating around...what did i do wrong!!? im going to start over and maybe add holes? what about dirt and newspaper or printer paper? what can i do to keep the consistency normal and make good compost for my vegetable garden? what should it look like? thanks for your help!

Birthday party ideas for a 2 year old?

We want to have a small B-day party for our son. I don't want anything to extravagant, but I want it to be fun for all the kids invited. Most of the kids will be between the ages of 2-4 and then my nephews are a bit older (8 and 9). Should I file a complaint to my states Insurance Commissioner about my short term disability insurance company?

Just as the school year ended, I found headlice on both of my children and myself!!!!!! Firstly believing oneself to be right is not unique to Christianity. Most people would not be involved with their religion if they thought they were wrong. Most people I know are honest enough to admit they have sinned and committed acts that violate their principles. Lethargic 4 week old kitten, vomiting and shaky?

I have a litter of 5 kittens, they were all very healthy and lively and they are just now starting to eat regular food and drinking water along with their feedings from mama cat. However, today one of our kittens was showing signs or lethargy and she just slept all day long. I got worried because she wasn't eating or drinking so I got a syringe and and fed it some water then bought some KMR formula and fed it that as well. I wrapped the kitten up and just let it be hoping it would improve, but tonight the kitten is still the same only more shaky and it actually vomited up the formula I fed it. When she was taken to jail social services took my child and never notified me of anything. Apparently she told them she didn't know how to get in touch with me at all which was a lie. I found out what happened from my ex's sister and contacted DHS immediately. Now I have to go through a process which may take 6 months or more to get my daughter back but they told me had she given them my info they would have contacted me to come pick her up and bring her back home with me immediately. I have all the paperwork birth cert/social sec/hospital records/common law marriage papers and EVERYTHING but I am being treated as if I was never in the picture at all. I have a court date next week and I am driving to Oklahoma from Alabama for this which is a long drive and expensive and I will also have to take off work to do so. I have been in touch with the social worker and the foster parents and they have even let me video chat with my daughter. But why is this such a process? I have been trying to get my daughter back with me for over a year now and SHOULD have been contacted immediately when my ex was arrested. I am at a loss and have no idea what to do now. I should have been informed to just come pick my daughter up but now that she has gone into foster care they wont let me take her. What should I do and why are they doing this to me? I have absolutely no criminal background and have a very nice house with my daughters stuff still here and everything. Shouldn't they just release her to me? 2006 Viper or 2008 Challenger SRT8 Limited Version?

I am a dodge fan and have finally saved about $53000 to get an extra vehicle to use as a weekend car and to cruise around whenever I'm bored. I like both cars very much and they both have an advantage. The Viper is very rare to see on the streets and it turns heads wherever you go the only thing is the V10 that isn't too good on gas. The 2008 Challenger SRT is a limited production of only 6400 made and has a rear seat but its not as sharp as the Viper. The Viper I wanna get is an orange copper color while the Challenger is a bright orange with stripes. I know the decision is up to me but I just wanna know what you people would say to this.

I go on Jan 30 when i am (supposed to be) 12 weeks to the doctor, and i believe i am having a sonogram- and they have 3d ultrasounds at my doctor. however- - if i was possibly 13 or 14 wks along ( i did not see the dr at the first appt-4 wks- but the nurse thinks i was 4 wks, but i was not examined or anything)... anyway if i am 12 weeks or possibly a little further can the doctor tell the of my baby? is it easier to determine with the 3d ultrasound? What's going on in my mouth??

My mouth has been hurting on the side for a few days now (since friday). At first I thought it was a wisdom tooth growing in but when I actually touched it it wasn't a tooth at all. It's just an area that really hurts. I've been using orajel and advil to relieve some of the pain and it helps a little...I just wish it would go away though. It hurts to eat and some times talking is diffucult. Also the side of my mouth that it's on is swollen. I haven't been able to go to the dentist because my dentist is "on spring break"...(I didn't know they got those). If it doesnt go away within the next 1 or 2 days I'll have to see someone because it's a really nagging pain. So what do you guys think this is? A canker sore, abscest ? My son is having a hard time at school with his writing?

Okay my child is 6 years old. His writing is just terrible. He is is going to occupational therapy for it as well. He is very smart but,when he writes it just comes out really bad. How can I improve my sitting posture?

It would help you to do a specific stretch as well as two exercises in order to make it easier on your muscles to keep your chest up while decreasing pain in your low back. You can stretch your upper body by standing at a corner and putting one hand on each wall at shoulder height. Lean forward until you feel a stretch in the front of your shoulders and hold this for about 15 seconds. Try to do this 3 times a day. You can strengthen your lower back muscles to support your chest by lying on the floor on your stomach. Keeping your belly on on the floor and your ankles close together, lift your legs off of the floor and hold them up for 10 seconds. Also try to do this 3 times a day. These should help but it will take a week or two for you to notice a difference so don't get discouraged!

Clear title, fresh inspection sticker. Recent new clutch. The one flaw this car has is the odometer reads 114,119 miles and it never changed. I am a female in my twenties and can't go through a single day in my life without feeling like a waste of space. I have a job (though I still live at home with my parents), but all I feel like is a failure. I often think to myself "Whats the point of me being here, I am terrible at everything and lack pretty much everything that is required in life to succeed!!".. I have never truly been good at anything and what usually comes soo simply to others takes me ages to grasp. The way that people are being sued for illegal music is because of sharing it over a network, not simply downloading it. RIAA says its basically impossible to track downloads but they can find the people who share it. Right now they are mainly targeting universities because thats where most of the offenders are grouped. do not threaten to kick your son out over something like this. how would u feel if he left and never came back again? I grew up baptist and went to church every Sunday and Wednesday. I definitely accepted christ and I am baptized. My relationship with god was amazing. I remember exactly what that * fire * for him felt like. But its been so long since I've felt it. I've been living in sin. Premarital with my sons father. ( we live together ) I haven't been interested in going to church and it just hasn't been the same. I hate to admit it but being w my fiance has played a huge part in it. Of course I kno it was my decision but and its not like he brainwashed me. He accepted me for who I was but little by little I slipped away. I want that back. I haven't felt complete in who knows how long. Everyday I think about judgment day or about the time I meet god at the gates. What do I say? I know I can repent but I can't stop. How do i just wake up one morning and say " hey babe remember how i said i want to get married before well that starts now" even if i explained y he doesnt get it. Nothing would make me happier than my fiance accepting christ. I breakdown into tears knowing he could go to hell. I love him. Not to mention it would be so much easier for me. Maybe he would understand a little more. But my main question is what would happen if I died before things were right? Would god accept me even though I keep doing the same stuff I've tried to repent about? Or would I go to hell. I know I need to make my relationship with god stronger asap. I just neeed to figure out where to start I'm a mess. Please serious answers only. This is coming from the bottom of my heart. I've had two long term relationships, so I kind of know where you are coming from. It seems like when I first get w/ a guy the is great, and then its just not so much. I think I get bored. Whats the best way to introduce my new puppy to my 2 cats?

I'm afraid the only way to do this is slowly. Separating them together is no good as if they never see each other they can never adjust. What you need is to separate them with a screen between; the idea is that they be able to see each other but not make contact until the kitten is calmer. Also of course let the cat and dogs see each other face to face when you can be there to supervise and split up if needed. But again this is a slow process to be done. It will take months. Just be patient and consistent.. okay..(^_^)

What's wrong with my dog?

WOW! He's a cuties I have a dog that is"special" we've taken him to the vet and well we don't treat him any differently we don't pick him up because he wont let us due to the fact that he fall of the bed at a very young age and grew a ball in his neck and screams when you touch it he is on meds for that, but other then that he's a cutie! he will be 12 years old in dec. He is still alive and he does have the same eyes as you dog, kind of the same characteristics, but if he doesn't think that anything is wrong with him, why let him know, he's very playful he doesn't eat much but he's fat I thinks it's because of low metabolism! But other then that your dog should be fine, usless he shows signs of pain then you should take him in! other then that your good, I mean he's gone this long, and for the allergies just make sure you clean his nose often or keep him inside when you are doing yard work, my other dog was allergic to gr!

Im a Sprinter in Track & people tell me that I run flatfooted...what exercises should I do to prevent this?

The way you run often depends on your shoes. So that may be one way to change your stride.There arent any exercises for it, you just need to start running the right way untill it becomes a habit. Also, I'm not a sprinter but I am pretty sure you are supposed to be running toes first, not heels.

My cat is almost 16 years old and in good physical health but I think she is getting dementia.?

She sometimes makes a yeowling sound as though she's scared and we go to comfort her. She does this about once or twice a day. This we can deal with but its the meowing all night for attention that is hard to deal with. Its a persistant " come downstairs and feed me " meow as opposed to the scared souding one. If she is given attention and fed/cuddled she only starts again a few minures later. We are going to the vet later this week for her booster and of course I will speak about this. Does anyone have experience of this and what can be done to help my poor cat in her twilight years?
